SPRING SOFTBALL
EVALUATIONS

WHAT: Evaluation of players to ensure an even distribution of experience
among the teams in both Majors & Minors Softball

WHERE: Sport Center 481
6841 Collamer Rd, East Syracuse

WHEN: Sunday, March 21, 2021

WHO: Mandatory for all softball players ages 8 – 12 years of age

TIMES: Timeslots – Age groups to be evaluated
League Ages 10, 11 & 12: Arrive at 4:45pm. 5pm start
League Ages 8 and 9: Arrive at 5:30pm. 5:45pm start.

Note: Softball league age is the age the player was on December 31, 2020
● Dress Appropriately. Wear sneakers (NO CLEATS).
● Players must have their own equipment (bat, glove and helmet). These will also be
required for the regular season due to COVID, sharing equipment is not allowed.
● Any league age 10-year-old NOT attending evaluations will be placed in Minors softball
● All players must attend evaluations. We do not “cut” in Little League, but evaluations
are needed in order to assign players to teams and “balance the league”

NOTE TO PARENTS
● FM Apparel will be available outside as players enter, cash or credit card
● Parents will NOT be allowed indoors during evaluations. Volunteers will usher them
inside and bring them out after evaluations.
